The boy had daddy issues, which I get but damn, he was putting me to sleep. All he did was mope around and feel sorry for himself. He didn’t have one single fun or entertaining moment in the whole book. But he was also boring as hell – not my kind of guy. Graham was a cold-hearted man who gave zero fucks about it – my kind of guy. She even sympathizes with a man she doesn’t even know, who has just lost their father. She cares about everyone and everything with her whole heart.

She makes no apologies for who she is and loves herself enough to not give a damn of what someone thinks of her.

I liked her, she was a sweetheart and I could see myself liking her in real life. I find it quite irritating when authors fail to do research before writing. SIDE NOTE: There were way too many medical inaccuacies in this book as well. I felt as though I would have been disrespectful to all of my 4 STAR reads if I had shared the same rating between the two. It doesn’t compare to the books I’ve given 4 STARS to. Why did I give this book 3 STARS? Simple. Lucy has a sister named Mari and they called each other, “Pea” and “Pod”. I’m going to keep it mostly pretty on this one with just a tiny bit a mess. If there were a few more happy moments then I may have given it 4 STARS – catch the may. Cherry was a decent book with a decent story, but it was depressing – at least 75% of it was. It was just waaaaayyyyy to sensitive for me. What I found for myself was a true 3 STARS Danielle read. With so many people giving this book 5 STARS, I just had to pick it up.
